Memorial Vigil

On Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Firemen's and 9-11 Memorial Park, Hasbrouck Heights residents held a Memorial Vigil reflection on the 13th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Rose Heck, who was also the Mistress of Ceremonies.  The Invocation and Benediction were presented by Rev. Eric Dammann, Pastor, Bible Baptist Church.  "On Eagle's Wings" and "Amazing Grace" were sung by Paul Fitzpatrick.  Reflections were given by both Michael Sickels, Euclid School Principal, and Joseph Colangelo, Lincoln School Principal, who together, gave the time-line for that mornings' events.  The program concluded with "God Bless America" sung by Conchita Parker.

Please note the twin steel beams for the World Trade Center between the first and second rows, just in front of the 9-11 Memorial Gazebo.  ###
